Dutch soccer player Tijjani Reijnders has agreed to stay with the Italian team AC Milan until June 2030. The club shared this news on Monday. Before this, some people thought he might leave because there were stories in the news saying he could join Chelsea, another soccer team. But now, those rumors are over.
Reijnders is 26 years old and started playing for AC Milan in 2023. Back then, he signed a deal to stay for five years. So far, he has played 90 games for Milan and scored 16 goals in different tournaments.
The team is happy with him. AC Milan said in a statement, “He has always shown his dynamism, quality and passion for the club.” Dynamism means he’s full of energy and movement on the field. Quality means he’s really good at what he does. And passion means he loves playing for Milan.
Right now, AC Milan is in ninth place in their league, called Serie A. They’ve lost their last three games, so they’re hoping to win when they play against Lecce, another team, on Saturday.
